CUSTOM SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Software shaped around
your business.

Customer-specific software that starts with your users, workflows and the outcomes you need.

Start with your workflow.

UIS accepts custom software development projects for customers. Bring us the process you want to improve, the problem you need to solve or the experience you want to create.

We work with you to clarify requirements, review the proposed solution and define what belongs in the first release. Platforms, integrations and delivery arrangements are agreed for each project.

START WITH THE PROBLEM

What would you like to improve?

These are useful starting points for a project conversation.

A fragmented workflow

Describe the repetitive steps, approvals or disconnected information that slow your team down.

Systems that need to connect

Explain which existing tools, information and responsibilities the proposed software must work with.

An experience that needs attention

Show us who uses the system, which tasks are difficult and which devices they rely on.

FROM IDEA TO HANDOVER

Build with a clear process.

A shared scope and regular review keep the work connected to the original need.

  1. 01

    Discovery & requirements

Map the users, day-to-day workflow, existing systems and the problem worth solving. Agree what success will look like.

  2. 02

    Experience & solution design

Review screen flows, data needs and interfaces before committing to the full build. Consider phone, tablet and desktop use where relevant.

  3. 03

    Development & review

Build the agreed scope and review working increments so decisions can be checked against the original requirements.

  4. 04

    Testing & acceptance

Check agreed workflows, compatibility and security requirements. Give your team a defined opportunity to review the result.

  5. 05

    Deployment & handover

Plan the release and agree the documentation, access and handover materials. Maintenance and future changes are scoped separately.

A BETTER FIRST CONVERSATION

A short brief goes a long way.

You do not need a finished technical specification to get in touch. A clear description of the current situation is enough to begin the conversation.

  • The current process and its main difficulties.
  • The result you want from the first release.
  • Existing systems, device needs and timing considerations.

BEFORE WE START

Before we build together.

Can you build software specifically for our organization?

Yes. UIS accepts customer-specific software development projects. Tell us who will use it, which workflow needs improvement and which existing systems it must work with.

Do we need a finished specification to contact you?

No. A short description of the problem, users, current process and desired outcome is a useful starting point. Discovery can clarify the requirements.

Will the software work on phones?

Where the project includes a web interface, phone and tablet requirements can be included in the scope and acceptance checks. The supported platforms are agreed for each project.

How are cost and delivery time determined?

They depend on requirements, complexity, integrations, deliverables and the agreed schedule. We discuss the scope before confirming a proposal.

What happens after handover?

Documentation, source-code access, deployment responsibilities and any maintenance arrangement are agreed for the project. Ongoing support and additional features are not assumed to be included indefinitely.

LET’S WORK ON IT

software project in mind?
